Take a picture of your F90 Fault and serial number on the side. step 2, Send these images to support@mppsolar.com They will send you a special file made for your unit, you will unzip it and follow instructions below with your new file. to get the file with serial number matching your inverter, you will have to email support@mppsolar.com with a picture of your external serial numer , and they will make a file especially for you. F90 occurs when for some reason the serial number becomes corrupted, and fails an internal checksum. 1. Unzip file 2. open the Axpert exe file 3. connect your inverter to your computer 4. power on inverter 5. select RS232 or USB in the software depending on your connection 6. click "search" to read the current serial number 7. click "apply" to write your chosen serial number from SN.txt 8. After a few seconds the software may say it has failed, but click "search" again to verfiy that your serial number has changed 9. done
